Conviction in Private Criminal Prosecution – Counterfeit Goods

Brenda Bradley, of Garvery Road, E16, was recently convicted for her involvement in selling counterfeit goods at Rathbone Market, Canning Town.

The case, brought by TM Eye as a private criminal prosecution, was heard at Thames Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 3rd July 2024.

Bradley faced multiple charges under Section 92 of The Trademarks Act 1994, relating to the possession and sale of counterfeit items. She pleaded guilty to all counts and was fined £150 per charge, totalling £450, along with a £180 Victim Surcharge, making her total fines £630.
