Khalil sold fake goods at Bovingdon Market in Hertfordshire

Mohammed Asif Khalil, born 10 08 1989 appeared at St Albans Magistrates court on the 21st November 2018, where he pleaded guilty to three offences contrary to Section 92 of The Trademarks Act 1994, for selling counterfeit goods at Bovingdon market. He was ordered to pay a £360 fine, £700 in costs and a £30 victim surcharge. A forfeiture and destruction order was granted by the court for all goods seized by TM Eye.

Amadasun sold fake goods at Bovingdon Market

Isaac Osasu-Amadasun born 25 01 1968, appeared St Albans Magistrates Court on the 21st November 2018, where he pleaded guilty to offences contrary to Section 92 of The Trademarks Act 1994 for selling counterfeit goods at Bovingdon market between 28thJuly 2018 and 11th August 2018. Amadasun was ordered to pay a £360 fine, £750 in costs and a £30 victims surcharge. A forfeiture and destruction order was granted by the court for all goods seized by TM Eye.

Mohammed Reza sold fake goods at Bovingdon Market

Nowrozi Mohammed-Reza, born 29.05.1970, appeared at St Albans Magistrates Court on the 1st November 2018, where he pleaded guilty to three offences of selling counterfeit goods contrary to Section 92 of The Trademarks Act 1994. He was ordered to pay a £200 fine, £257 in costs and a £30 victim surcharge. A forfeiture and destruction order was also granted for all goods seized by TM Eye. The case was brought by TM Eye as a private criminal prosecution on behalf of one of its luxury goods clients.

Nowrozi Mohammed-Reza had already been prosecuted and convicted by TM Eye on the 11th of April 2018 at St Albans Magistrates Court for selling counterfeit goods at Bovingdon market. On that occasion he pleaded guilty and was required to pay a £552 fine, £2271.55 costs and a £30 victim surcharge. Despite this conviction he continued to re offend and was prosecuted by TM Eye on a second occasion.
