The case was brought by TM Eye as a private criminal prosecution on behalf of its client Hugo Boss and another well known luxury goods brand.

The case follows a 3 month covert investigation by TM Eye’s Online Investigations Team. GREEN sold a variety of fake goods from her FACEBOOK site. Covert test purchases of counterfeit HUGO BOSS goods and other fake goods were carried out on 30th July 2018, 20th August 2018 and 3rd September 2018. GREEN was covertly filmed selling the fake goods to an undercover operative when the items were collected from her home.

GREEN will now have her fingerprints, photograph and DNA taken by police and the conviction recorded on the police National Computer. Should she re offend she will risk a custodial sentence.
